Create Student Purchase Code

In order to provide students with academic pricing for the Enginius software, the instructor will need to provide the students with a "Student Purchase Code." The student purchase code has two functions. One, it identifies the user as a student that qualifies for academic pricing. We rely on instructors to only provide these purchase codes to students in their classes. Two, the code is unique to each class and will provide a way for the students to purchase the exact materials they need.

TIP: If you are not an instructor (e.g., TA, admin assistant, IT department, etc.), please ask the instructor to provide you with their Third-party Access link in order to create the Student Purchase Code.

Create Student Purchase Code

To obtain a student purchase code, please visit INSTRUCTORS -> CREATE STUDENT PURCHASE CODE menu link (https://www.enginius.biz/purchase/configure/license/) to configure your class. You will be able to select how long the license should last (note the link for a one month license beneath the 6 Months option) and the specific materials the student needs to purchase. The "Customized" option will allow you to choose only the specific materials you need for your course.

Once configured, click the "Generate Code" button and a handout will be generated containing the instructions for the student to purchase access to the Enginius site.
