Enginius is capable of analyzing your own data but it must be in a specific format suitable for Enginius to recognize. To aid in this process, we recommend using the "Templates" feature within the Enginius Dashboard.

Templates

This feature will create the necessary data blocks and headings based on your model design specifications. This will enable you to see where specific data needs to go in order for Enginius to analyze it. To get started, select the model from the Template dropdown.

Template set up:

The software will ask for the parameters of your design. Once you have entered the design parameters, click "Run" to generate the template.

Resulting template:

Enginius will generated the necessary data blocks and headers to indicated what data is needed and where it needs to be placed for Enginius to analyze it.

Entering your data

There are several ways to enter your data into the Enginius data blocks:

  1. Enter the data directly into the Enginius data blocks.
  2. Copy data from Excel and paste it into the appropriate Enginius data blocks.
  3. Save the template as an Excel file, fill out the template in Excel, and then Load the Excel file back into Enginius.
